Streamyx delayed access (Updated)

Dear Clients,

Over the past weekend, there has been a delayed access of websites from Malaysia to other countries. A traceroute conducted by our technicians reveal that one of our local ISP (Streamyx) is having routing problems to countries outside of Malaysia. Access to the servers via other ISP (such as Celcom, P1 or Maxis broadband) seems to be totally unaffected. Clients accessing their webmails from Singapore have no issue at all.

Performance of all the servers located in the AtlantaNAP datacenter and Los Angeles WEBNX datacenter are functioning optimally.

There have been mixed reports on the possible dates that the connection would be repaired. Streamyx operators gave us 25th Febraury and 5th March as possible dates of ratifying the issues.

Nonetheless we will continue to update you.

UPDATE: The cables seems to be repaired by Streamyx. Connection to the servers are faster and stable.
